Immediately after intensive negotiations, Rani Zim signed an arrangement on Friday to promote the Workplace Depot retail chain to vehicle importer UMI (Common Motors Israel). The sale is at a valuation of NIS 80 million, and includes NIS 45 million personal debt owed by Workplace Depot.

“Globes” first claimed past August that Zim was placing Place of work Depot up for sale by way of EY, seven years immediately after he acquired it. The chain is composed of 41 branches close to Israel. Zim held it privately, and not by the public actual estate business that bears his title. The cause for the sale is that Zim wishes to focus on enhancing and growing his business true estate organization.

In the present deal, Zim gets NIS 35 million web. He is estimated to have invested NIS 30 million in taking more than Business Depot. He purchased half the shares in the chain in 2014, and the remainder a calendar year later on
