Rounding Up the Real Estate From ‘Chrisley Knows Best’

Before they became reality TV stars, the couple submitted false documents to community banks in Atlanta in order to obtain some $30 million in loans that they then spent on luxury cars, real estate, travel, and designer clothes.

Around the time that the show began filming in 2014, the Associated Press reported Todd filed for bankruptcy. A lawyer for Todd told the AP that he’s “disappointed with the verdict” and “expects to appeal.” Sentencing for the couple is scheduled for October.

Meanwhile, their show is set to keep moving forward. The USA Network still plans to air the second half of the show’s ninth season later this month.

Also, the show’s already been renewed for an astonishing 10th season, according to the Hollywood Reporter. “Growing Up Chrisley,” a spinoff series following two of the Chrisley kids, Chase and Savannah, has been renewed for a fourth season.

As fans of the show know, the family lives it up in some ritzy real estate, which often serves as the backdrop for their antics.

Let’s peek inside the Chrisley real estate holdings—before they crumble.

Brentwood, TN

In April 2019, Julie bought a posh property in Brentwood, TN, for $3,375,000.

Chrisley bought the property from former hockey player Mike Ribeiro, who had been playing with the Nashville Predators.

The Chrisleys got to work immediately and renovated the space. Two months later, they put the mansion back on the market for $4.75 million.

After about a year, it came off the market, and property records indicate Julie still owns the home.

Built in 2013, the 12,753-square-foot mansion is outfitted with high-end finishes. Highlights include a formal dining room with hand-painted wallpaper, a rec room, a wine cellar, an indoor sport court, and a wood-paneled office with a decorative ceiling.

Set on an acre, the grounds boast a covered patio with a fireplace and barbecue station, as well as a pool and spa.

Nashville, TN

After making a name for themselves in reality TV, the couple moved from Atlanta to Nashville in 2016.

They settled in the Belle Meade neighborhood and purchased a sweet $1.6 million home, which fans of the show are familiar with.

Built in 2014, the four-bedroom, 5,229-square-foot home features a living room with multiple sets of French doors, an open kitchen with a large island, a wet bar, and two fireplaces.

Measuring a little over a half-acre, the outdoor space includes a level lawn and a patio. It’s about 10 miles from the couple’s Brentwood mansion, which they moved into after claiming the Belle Meade home began to “draw unwanted attention from tourists.”

Georgia

Before leaving for Nashville, the Chrisleys lived in a series of homes in the Peach State.

In 2006, Todd purchased a 16-acre estate in the Atlanta area in the upscale Buckhead neighborhood. He paid an eye-watering $9 million for the eight-bedroom European-style mansion.

According to reports, he lost the property to foreclosure in 2012.

In the show’s first season, the family lived regally in a nine-bedroom, 30,000-square-foot pile in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell.

Located in a gated community, the property offered landscaped grounds, along with a heated saltwater pool and hot tub, an outdoor terrace with a fireplace, and a children’s playground.

Initially listed in 2007 for $7 million, the mansion bounced on and off the market for years before finally selling for $1.2 million in 2014.

In order to maintain camera-ready appearances for their show, the Chrisley family leased a posh place in Suwanee, GA, in 2014.

It was the backdrop of their program after they had to leave their Roswell estate.

Built in 2006, the 7,800-square-foot mansion sits on the sixth hole of the River Club golf course. The custom-built residence features built-ins, teak flooring, fireplaces, an office, and a formal dining room. The primary suite has a fireplace, dual closets, and golf course views—and it was often the focus of scenes in the show.

When it came on the luxury rental market in 2016, the monthly lease was a steep $8,000.

Unrelated to any Chrisley shenanigans, the mansion popped on the market in February for $1,949,000 and was sold a month later for $1,868,000.

The family also laid claim to another Atlanta-area home. The four-bedroom, 3,000-square-foot brick house in Alpharetta was reportedly the home of Todd’s mother, known as “Nanny” Faye on the show.

It was purchased for $452,900 in 2005, and in 2017 it was sold for $540,000.

Homes of the Chrisley kids

Julie and Todd’s blended clan consists of several children from their previous and current marriages. Savannah, the oldest daughter, was a teen pageant winner.

The budding businesswoman launched a fashion line on HSN and created a cosmetic company. She also owns a home in Franklin, TN.

The “Growing Up Chrisley” star purchased the four-bedroom abode in 2016 for $681,000. The 3,300-square-foot residence features wood floors, built-ins, a fireplace, and an open kitchen and dining area.

She previously owned a chic midtown Nashville condo, which she bought for $515,000 in 2017. She sold the one-bedroom unit in 2021 for $605,000.

Other celebrities who reportedly own units in the trendy building include Julianne Hough and Taylor Swift.

Although Kyle Chrisley, the oldest son from Todd’s previous marriage, no longer appears on the show, his adorable daughter, Chloe, does.

Kyle recently sold a home in Canton, GA. He and wife Alexus Chrisley bought the five-bedroom residence in 2017 for $252,390. They listed the 2,900-square-foot property in April for $499,000. It was sold a month later for $525,000.
