BALTIMORE — Mayor Brandon Scott on Thursday convened a conference of business enterprise house owners, metropolis leaders and squeegee personnel, hoping to obtain solutions for the window washers.
Scott stated squeegee personnel have been an issue for decades, but what is new this time is that all the stakeholders are coming to the table.
“This is about Baltimore –Baltimore failing to tackle this concern, from a government standpoint, from a company standpoint, local community standpoint, most people has unsuccessful to address this challenge,” he claimed.
City Councilman Kristerfer Burnett, who was in the assembly, said about 50 people, like some squeegee employees, were being existing and attendees talked over transitioning window washers into work and how to hold both equally youthful people and motorists harmless.
Donte Johnson, basic supervisor of Lodge Revival in Mount Vernon, was also inside of the space.
